Tried Tasmania wines but don't know where to buy in Hong Kong?
Last week the Central Harbourfront was packed with locals and visitors exploring food, wine and entertainment at the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival. Again this year, the Australian Pavilion brought together ten wine regions including the world-famous Barossa and the less heard of ones such as Tasmania.
We're stoked to find out from speaking to some people at the festival that they have already tried Tasmania wines when they visited the island as a tourist destination.
Tasmania is in fact home to some of the best sparkling wines in the world, it is widely recognized as having the best sites in Australia for producing premium sparkling wines. Wine critic Tom Stevenson commented, 'Tasmania isn't just sparkling wine country - it is Sparkling, Riesling and Pinot Noir country.'
The Josef Chromy Riesling sold out quickly, what's so popular about the Josef Chromy wines isn't just about the freshness of the wines it delivers but the delicate, elegant flavours that round out the mineral and acidity, making it an exciting new wine for white wine drinkers to try. In case you missed out on these at the fair they are available for purchase here: Josef Chromy Sauvignon Blanc, Josef Chromy Sparkling Cuvee NV.
