| Beautifully fragrant, round rose with fine bead and ripe, full fruit flavors of Pinot Noir interwoven with drier, toasty complexity; excellent deep color; richly scented of strawberry, raspberry and almonds. Exceptional. The Champagne is fresh, focused, and poised, thanks to the brisk acidity.
Blended with a splash of still Bouzy Rouge (15%) harvested from 4 of 10 best lieux-dits in Grand Cru Bouzy. Blend of 35% 2011 juice, 15% Bouzy 2012 juice and 50% solera reserve. Alcoholic fermentation 85% in inox tanks, 15% on low maceration for 2 weeks. Disgorgement only prior to ex- cellar. Dosage: 8 gram per bottle.
Food match: This is only made in sunny years. This rose is the most adaptable with the food. E.g. charcuterie, shellfish, or cheeses.
