| This wine is a beautiful pale-yellow colour with green highlights.
At first, the bouquet is dominated by wonderfully ripe fruit,
yet not excessively so. Sémillon comes to the fore with aeration,
accompanied by hints of lime. Starts out broad-based and delicious on the palate,
becoming rich and full-bodied, underpinned by a discreet yet
efficient streak of acidity until the finish which appears to go on for an eternity…
This La Mission vintage undoubtedly has further surprises
in store that will be revealed after several years of ageing.
